BD Expo, always attentive to environmental protection and sustainability, has embarked on a path of continuous improvement aimed at raising its ESG standards.
In 2023, the company made a significant investment in sustainability and technological innovation through the installation of a next-generation photovoltaic system, designed to power the company’s energy-intensive carpentry machinery.
This initiative has improved production efficiency while reducing environmental impact, further strengthening the company’s commitment to a responsible and sustainable development model.
At the same time, we place great importance on the work environment, employee training, and workplace safety, promoting collaboration, integration, and a strong sense of belonging in order to contribute to a more sustainable and responsible future.
Responsible Materials
Sustainability is a core value that guides the way we operate. Every project we develop follows a circular approach, focused on selecting materials and solutions that minimize environmental impact throughout the entire lifecycle of the installation and the product.
We use recycled, recyclable, and reusable wood, including melamine-faced panels and laminates sourced exclusively from producers certified to ISO, FSC, and PEFC standards, alongside durable and recoverable materials such as aluminum and glass. This approach helps reduce waste, optimize the use of resources, and encourage the reuse of components while maintaining high aesthetic and quality standards.
Our commitment translates into concrete choices that combine environmental responsibility, production efficiency, and the quality of the final result.
Restored Nature
BD Expo has joined PrintReleaf, the international programme dedicated to offsetting paper consumption through certified reforestation projects.
PrintReleaf works with leading international companies specialising in measurement and verification, ensuring that participating forestry partners meet the organisational and operational requirements set out by the PrintReleaf Standard.
Since December 2021, BD Expo has offset the equivalent of 66,664 standard sheets of paper, contributing to the reforestation of 8 trees.
This achievement represents another concrete step in our commitment to more responsible resource management and greater attention to environmental protection.
